FAQs

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots placed in the jawbone to replace missing teeth. They provide a stable foundation for crowns, bridges, or dentures, restoring both the function and appearance of your smile.
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown or restoration on the implant may need to be replaced after 10-15 years, depending on wear, but the implant itself is designed to stay strong and durable for many years.
Dental implant surgery is typically done under local anesthesia or sedation, ensuring a comfortable experience. After the procedure, mild discomfort may occur, but it is manageable with over-the-counter pain medication. Most patients report minimal pain during recovery.
Most healthy adults are candidates for dental implants, though factors like bone density and overall oral health are important. If you have concerns, our team will assess your situation and determine if dental implants are the right choice for you.
The dental implant process typically takes several months. This includes initial consultation, placement of the implant, and a healing period for the bone to fuse with the implant. The final restoration (crown, bridge, or denture) is placed once healing is complete.
